COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES

Reinforcing workplace health through additional and quality-driven services

hepatitis b vaccinations

Protecting your staff against the risk of infection

Employees that may come into contact with blood or bodily fluids are at the higher risk of being exposed to Hepatitis B virus (HBV) which causes an acute viral infection of the liver. This includes staff working in laboratories, care homes, prisons, and emergency services. If there is a significant risk of contracting Hepatitis B within your workplace, you should have control measures in place and consider introducing an immunisation programme for staff to ensure a safe system of work. Our Hepatitis B (HepB) vaccination service could help you lower the risk of infection and protect your employees against this infectious disease. The service offers the HepB vaccine course, along with a Hepatitis B immunity test and a vaccine booster where appropriate.

display screen equipment (dse) assessments

Preventing DSE discomfort and injuries

Improper use of DSE and poorly designed workstation or work environment can lead to musculoskeletal (MSK) disorders. As an employer, under The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations, you have to ensure that your employees' workstations are set up properly to help avoid exacerbating existing medical conditions or potentially creating new issues. Our DSE assessments evaluate any hazards that may be present and suggest recommendations that we think will help improve the employee’s health and wellbeing. Proactively managing your organisations' DSE assessments not only helps to ensure that you meet the requirements of the regulations, but it can also reduce sickness absence and sustain productivity.

COUNSELLING

Supporting mental health of your staff

Counselling offers employees the opportunity to discuss both work related and personal issues which may be causing them concern or distress. A wide range of topics can be addressed during counselling sessions, such as bereavement, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, conflicts at work, or self-esteem issues. All counsellors that we work with are fully qualified and registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. We can arrange both telephone and face to face counselling, as well as critical incident support counselling.

neurodiversity assessments & coaching

Empowering neurodiverse employees

Through our partner services, we can help organisations to create more inclusive workplaces where neurodivergent individuals can thrive and fulfil their potential. We arrange Diagnostic Assessments to identify if an employee has a specific neurodiverse condition such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or autism spectrum conditions (ASC). Following an initial Diagnostic Assessment, we can organise a Workplace Needs Assessment, which provides a detailed overview of employee's strengths and challenges, along with recommendations and advice for reasonable adjustments. This can be followed up with one-to-one coaching which is aimed at developing strategies and solutions to overcome any workplace challenges the employee may have.

PHYSIOTHERAPY

Helping protect musculoskeletal health

Musculoskeletal disorders or injuries can have a significant impact on an employee’s ability to carry out their job role effectively and represent a major cause of workplace sickness absence. We can help your employees to relieve pain, reduce discomfort, and restore movement by providing a fast route to MSK assessment, diagnosis and specialist treatment through our physiotherapy partner services. All physiotherapists that we work with are fully registered members of the Health & Care Professional Council (HCPC) and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). The assessments can be done via telephone, video, or in-person in scheduled clinics where appropriate.
