Supporting our local community and protecting the environment.
The Great British Spring Clean is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign run by Keep Britain Tidy. This year the campaign is taking place from 17th March to 2nd April and it encourages people to join the battle to clean the places in their local communities across the UK.
We have also pledged to take part in the campaign and yesterday afternoon we set off to Cherry Hinton Hall Park to collect rubbish. Just in two hours we have managed to collect four full bags of litter!
A massive thank you to our staff at Corazon Health who volunteered for litter picking!
“Taking part in the Great British Spring Clean was not only fun but also rewarding. I'm proud that we have made a difference to our local community and the environment.” - Kinga
Litter-picking is a simple action that anyone can do to and we encourage everyone to join in. Every bag of litter and minute of your time helps keep your local area clean, green and welcoming for everyone. Plus, spending time outdoors with others can help to improve your mood too!
